Went to this cute cafe today. The best poppy seed cake we have ever eaten is there. We will definitely be back.

Today I went to the cafe with my parents. First of all, I had ordered a tea and I honestly have to say that I rarely had such a good tea. The moncake was outstanding and the service is extremely friendly and reliable, the corona rules have also been strictly adhered to.

Service very friendly and helpful as well as courteous. Always my pleasure.

Since it's our wedding anniversary today, we chose this café. We would be served excellently by waiter 2 at table 11 for breakfast, also today at noon for coffee we were lucky enough to get the same waiter who served us at table 6, all in all a successful wedding anniversary and a thank you to this nice friendly waiter ..

It's good that it was so cold and windy, otherwise you probably wouldn't have discovered this beautiful café. Very tasty cakes, good coffee and tea and very friendly service. The corona rules were followed very meticulously. The price-performance ratio was right. An absolute recommendation!

The cakes are excellent! The coffee leaves a lot to be desired: please introduce a milk alternative such as oat or almond milk. The coffee doesn't taste particularly good either. Choice of tea is good for that. Nice place for a cake.

What should I write, we've been coming here too, for years to enjoy in the Theater Cafè and are always impressed by the quality of the cake! The service is always friendly and courteous, even when there is a large crowd. The sweet treats are excellent ....... The Zuger-Torte is a poem. Outside you can switch off and enjoy. Very nice cafe! The best location, first-class service, wonderful breakfast options and incredibly delicious cakes! The staff is very courteous and attentive. And the waiter Marek S. speaks not only his perfect German but also Russian! The café is now one of my favorite places on Lindau Island! We recommend!

A belated review from 9/11/2020 We were very satisfied, especially the waiter Mareck was very accommodating and very attentive! It is definitely worth a visit! We'll be back ❤️ they even helped us find a parking space 😍

We ordered cakes with the announcement please bring them to the table, (order from the waiter), we would have to pay for cakes and drinks immediately before consumption, we would be told that it would be better that way because we don't have to wait for the waiter later just table The biggest no-go is that the cake is not served on a plate but on a very simple paper plate with a wooden fork. After opening the super packed cake, the waiter came and tried to convince us that it would be provided and the seller did not understand that it should be delivered to the table, but he could not explain payment immediately. Never again cake with such a waitress.

First of all I have to say that we only had two coffees and a latte machiato here, but unfortunately the quality of the coffee was very disappointing. It was very watery and just didn't taste like coffee at all. The milk foam of the macchiato was still good! I just think that a pastry shop needs a good coffee .. Unfortunately, we didn't try any cake because we just wanted to have a quick drink.

Always worth a visit. Since everyone knows this, you should be patient. Nice service and the finest coffee and cake.

We've waited for 20 minutes, nobody came to us. We've asked the personal, they said somebody will come and after 10 minutes of waiting we had to leave coz nobody was going to bring us anything

WONDERFUL breakfast! Very prompt friendly service with well spoken English from our server. Everything was so good and very thoughtfully prepared would highly recommend a visit and the baked goods case was absolutely beautiful with a wide variety of options to choose from.

The right place for a relaxing, delicious breakfast. Fresh rolls, delicious cake and very friendly staff. If you come for breakfast, you should ask them to serve you their homemade abricot marmelade. It is amazing!

Theater Cafe is a wonderful place. Me and my mum had delicious food and drinks. Customer service is perfect. I really enjoyed my time there and I strongly recommend this cafe.

Cute clean, bright bakery/ cafe. Reasonable prices and delicious pastries. My sweet tooth and morning caffeine requirements were duly satisfied here.

A good cafe, I have been for coffee with friends and for breakfast. A little walk away from the harbour but still on the winding street of the island. Not the cheapest place but good quality, also close to the market if you want to combine with a Saturday morning visit.

This is an elegant and beautiful little café. I found it on a rainy afternoon while wandering the streets of Lindau. The coffee was phenomenal. I am sad that I can't remember the name of the delicious cake I had. It was a treat. Advice? When they ask you, "Mit sahne?" say yes.
